The human voice does not make use of keys like a piano to produce specific sounds. Therefore, reliable strategies are necessary when a singer has to sight-read the score. The following method is dedicated to singers and voice students with at least a little experience, who desire to enhance their sight-singing skills, learn to sing in tune harmonizing with other voices or with the instrumental accompaniment, and be able to sing any interval in order to confront the most challenging pieces, even those from the atonal repertoire. This book consists of 73 individual and ensemble (two- to four-part) exercises focusing on the identification and execution of all intervals. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Cross-cutting interests in Music led Paolo Zoccarato to attend various classes at the Conservatory and University of Padova. He has been a conductor for vocal and instrumental ensembles and he has always favored his activity as a teacher. For several years he has been Professor of Choral Music at the Adria Conservatory of Music, where he is also serving as a Chair of the Voice Department and Vice-President of the Institute.
