As One Remembers Starlight

The beautiful Princess Cleyella is a wildly independent woman who has been raised from infancy for one purpose...to be the leader of her father's army. But when the king mysteriously departs, leaving Cleyella under the protection of a skilled, but unapologetically arrogant warrior, the princess is outraged. Never one to as for assistance, Cleyella proudly refuses to succumb to the expertise and savoir faire of the roguishly handsome, Zak. Observing from a distance, the power-hungry Lord Baiden watches Cleyella closely, his own plans for her future set firmly in his mind. After kidnapping the princess, Baiden proceeds with a treacherous plan of cruelty, destruction, and dark magic. Swallowing her pride at last, Cleyella learns to rely on Zak's devoted protection. As they search together for a way to overcome Lord Baiden's diabolical plan, the princess once again finds herself a prisoner...this time to Zak's passionate embrace. In the end, she will have to sacrifice more than her own will and wishes to save her beloved kingdom from Lord Baiden's enslaving schemes. But will she have to surrender her newfound love or her own life to finally understand the responsibility and duty of being royal-born?
