Brendon is the second born. He has an older sister named Laylah who never misses an opportunity to tell him, "I was born first, and YOU were born second! I'm older and YOU'RE younger!" After a while this begins to worry Brendon as he wonders how special he is to his mommy and daddy. Brendon wonders if being "second born" is the equivalent of being "second best." This book reveals the special bond Brendon has with each of his family members as he learns just how special he truly is.
