Dr. Luscious Campbell a sought-after History professor and the author of recent published works that many are appalled by. His tales of voodoo, according to claim, are not a legend but very real, and still practiced in the Deep South, known for swamps, bayous and crazy people. It's his first day teaching. The controversial course attracts attention from students. Shocking as his story may be or the subject matter he has chosen to teach, it's not the core of the book's story. It becomes overwhelmingly clear that Luscious had been placed in the unbelieving situation. Luscious had no idea what would happen when he visited that beautiful plantation or the horror he would soon be introduced to. Why him and why now? Centuries since that fateful night, he will soon discover how his experiences will change not only him but the long term gossip, in the quaint, small, Houma town.
