This book covers the topic of embedded systems in Extreme Environments. The obvious extreme is outer space beyond our planet. However, these are many terrestrial harsh environments with parameters beyond room temperature and pressure. First and foremost, the embedded system must function properly. But we also have to consider the environment it is working in. We're not covering embedded systems sitting on the bench here.
