Francesca attempts to stop her son from preventing his daughter from marrying the man she loves. As she recounts the story of her life in Italy after WWII, getting married, and coming to America as a young woman, she finds herself exposing the secrets she has fought to keep hidden for the last sixty years. Her son's involvement in his brother's death, her fathers deal with the Mafia, and how dishonoring her betrothal led to murder, betrayal, and tragedy resurface in her mind, but as she tells her story, her son and daughter remember details unknown to Francesca that present a surprising new twist. If she is able to free her son from his disturbing past, Francesca may be able to forgive hers. Inspired by a true story, FRANCESCA'S SECRETS is a love story on many levels where romantic love ultimately becomes unconditional love and acceptance.
