Healing Scriptures is an inspiring collection of scripture, prayers, creeds, and biblical commentary. It focuses on the physical healings performed by Jesus Christ during His three years of ministry on Earth. Picture yourself as Jairus asking Jesus to heal his daughter and raise her from her deathbed. Then imagine Jesus standing next to you today, as you pray for healing for you or your loved ones. The enemies to healing are fear and lack of forgiveness. Author E. A. Reeves looked into the mirror every day and said, "In Jesus's name, I will not receive cancer in my body." Whenever fearful, she repeated that positive affirmation. She also made sure to forgive her enemies. Jesus forgave the men who crucified him. He reminds us that if we don't forgive others, our sins won't be forgiven. As written in Acts, "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power. He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil, for God was with him." God is with you, too, gifting you healing in the midst of strife if you only call His name in prayer.
