Hit 149

The one thing you need to know about me is I've never been a damsel in distress. Arrogant.Antihero.Assassin. I may be a woman but I'm lethal. My code-name is 15. The day I turned fifteen was when my life changed forever.Ronan Murphy sent his men to tear me away from my home by using any force necessary. For survival I put a bullet in their head, but not before they wreaked permanent destruction. From that day on, I was eternally changed.Fast forward to my twenty-eighth birthday, where I gave myself the ultimate present... I ended Ronan Murphy's life.To celebrate, I was on the prowl for a one-night stand.I met him at a bar. He's strong and sexy.We hit it off immediately. He's name was Ben Pearson.Ben was exactly what I needed to scratch my itch...until he told me he's the police chief in Bankstown Creek, the town I was taken from. So, I did the only thing I could, I left.I never wanted to see him again; obviously it's too dangerous for me. My life doesn't need that level of complication.I would've stayed gone, but now I've been hired for a new job. A hit on a cop - Ben Pearson.I'm to return to my hometown and assassinate him.Problem is, I'm not sure I can. *This book has been previously published as Hit 149, however it's been completely rewritten, edited with a fresh new cover.
