Journey Beyond 2012

According to the Mayan calendar, Nostradamus and other prognosticators, December 21, 2012 was to usher in dramatic changes for the world - if it didn't end first. Piero Rivolta's visionary novel, Journey Beyond 2012, explored those predictions through the lives of three people. Meet George, an engineer of international construction projects, his wife, Valeria, and Ryan, a financier, business partner and friend. As the deadline approached, each imagined a different turning point. How they coped with what actually happened takes this engaging and memorable story to a fitting climax as it suggests an innovative direction for the new millennium. PRAISE FOR THE METAPHYSICAL FICTION OF PIERO RIVOLTA: "An evocative, romantic, thought-provoking read, Journey Beyond 2012 deals with issues we can all relate to in an original, imaginative way. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel." --- Derek Han, International concert pianist "Piero Rivolta gives us a refreshing alternative to the dystopian scenarios predicted for the world when the Mayan calendar ends on December 21, 2012. Instead, he offers a quiet meditation on the nature of our existence, an exposition on the hope for mankind to awaken to the goodness and creativity that lie within each of us." --- Donna Marie Smith, Librarian, Palm Beach County Library System, West Palm Beach, Florida "Piero Rivolta's engaging novel, Journey Beyond 2012, is a cosmic morality tale that is brimming with anticipation. Through the lens of a philosophical kaleidoscope laced with wisdom, the story simultaneously takes us forward and backwards in time. Its variable themes include Wall Street, the politics of innuendo and distortion, and the DNA of survival." --- Stephanie Dale, Author, My Pilgrim's Heart "If you're going to read one novel before the world ends on December 21st, 2012, make it Piero Rivolta's provocative Journey Beyond 2012!" --- Rik Feeney, Author, book coach
