Kai's Healing Smiles

Two men, one café, and an uncertain future. Silas goes through the motions every day, barely keeping the pain of mourning his wife's death from overwhelming him. However, there is one ray of sunshine: Kai, a smiley, awkward barista whose very presence is a comfort that Silas soaks in as much as possible. Kai secretly watches a man from afar, hoping for his attention to be returned. The man seems mature, professional, and sad, yet everything about him is a mystery. Kai isn't sure why he's drawn to this enigmatic figure, but he can't look away. One man's past hangs over him like a cloud. Another man's potential shines like sunlight. When these forces collide in the fires of passion, it is unclear whether shadow or light will rule the day. Will Silas learn to love again? Will Kai find true love for the first time? Can a smile heal a broken heart?
