The Tempest /La tempestad is Fernández Arellano's most recent book of poems. It is poetry of the flesh and gritty, articulating an introspective intensity. Here the Nicaraguan poet presents a fascinating lyric nakedness, eschewing convoluted circumlocutions. The result is both prodigious and, at times, heart-rending.HÉCTOR TAJONAREnsayista mexicano
