The moment the recorder comes out, Lazlo wishes he could disappear-and he's not the only one who's ever felt that way.Lazlo is starting at a new school, and music class is not going the way he hoped. New notes. Tricky fingerings. And a classroom full of kids who seem to get it faster... It's enough to make anyone want to give up.But between the squeaks, slips, and second tries, something unexpected begins to happen. This engaging, interactive picture book is perfect for young children and elementary students who are learning something new-especially those beginning recorder or exploring music in school for the first time. It helps kids move from frustration and self-doubt to confidence and pride in what they can do.A natural fit for music classrooms, recorder units, and back-to-school read-alouds, this story blends humor, heart, and early music concepts into an experience kids will recognize-and ask for again and again.A relatable story for any child who has ever felt behind, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start-and a thoughtful gift for young musicians, students, and classrooms.Playーand learnーalong with Lazlo in this interactive musical tale!
