Let's Pretend We're Unicorns

Based on the saying, The Grass Is Always Greener, this uplifting story about a horse who struggles to find contentment amidst life's disappointments, is designed to help children discover the importance of gratitude, how our attitude has a profound influence on how we see things, and the secret to happiness. Fancy is completely dissatisfied with her ordinary life on the old farm and images how spectacular everything would be, if only she were a unicorn. This delightful story is as entertaining as it is thought provoking and offers children valuable insight on attitudes, goals, the importance of friends, and learning to appreciate the people in our everyday lives that we can often tend to take for granted.Through its endearing storytelling, this rhyming picture book makes reading fun and engaging for children with its distinctive one-of-a-kind advice, along with illustrations so cheerful and whimsical, from a rainbow slide, to soda streams and trees made of cotton candy, that imaginations can't help but run wild. This story serves to remind us that even though we may feel disappointed when things don't go the way we had hoped or when we compare ourselves with others whose lives may seem perfect, we all have the ability to change our mood and our feelings when we change our perspective and focus on what we are grateful for instead. Get caught up in the fun and discover the secret to finding joy, even when life's difficult; the power of attitude; the importance of goals, the magic of imagination to and the true meaning of friendship.
