Lil Lulu is a peacock who enjoyed going to school until she is made fun of by her friends for having dyslexia. When given an art challenge Lulu was not able to fully follow the given instructions because her mind worked differently than the rest of her classmates. Lulu persevered and completed the assignment as best she could. Surprised that her art stood out with its creativity, her classmates realized Lulu was brilliant in her own way. This book displays the connection between dyslexia and creativity.
