It was another hot, sweltering day in Georgia. Megliana pouted and generally looked frustrated leaning on the back fender of her older sedan. "I can't ever catch a break," she muttered watching the dust blow across the highway and the heat waves shimmer at the base of the hill. Megliana, Red Headed Meg to the locals at Phil's Karaoke Bar and Bowling Alley on Friday nights, was stuck waiting for a tow truck to take her and the heap of junk she was driving to the mechanic shop outside of town. She kicked the back tire as rivulets of sweat ran down her leg and thought this would never have happened to her if she had not been so focused on search on her search Darchiel.
