Metaman details not only the complexity of diverse interests on a local government level, but also the futility of affecting the federal government given the way the political system in The United States of America has evolved. Focusing on Civics and the concrete decisions made by a local governing bodies may help. This book is an effort to start a conversation on a smaller scale than trying to change the world. Getting a strong record of Florida Civics through a mass-collaboration online may help show the way to real change, and true representation.
