Middle Maddy loved school and recess. She didn't like going to the principal's office and she had to remind them that she was just a kid. "Middle Maddy is a book, that will help parents remember what it was like to be 'just a kid.' Using engaging storytelling, children will laugh along as they journey with Middle Maddy and take a peek into her world." -Patrick W. Mental Health Specialist The brilliantly insightful Robin Poindexter draws upon her inner child and brings us into the minds of an elementary student. Middle Maddy draws in its readers and will have them considering what steps they would have taken if they too found themselves in similar situations while recalling their own childhood antics. As an Educator and parent of two small children, I appreciate how Robin Poindexter scaffold her short stories and wrote in kid friendly language while using vivid imaginary to paint an elaborate picture of Maddy and her life. My 6 year old daughter cannot stop reading Middle Maddy. This is truly a book that you would not want to miss out on. -Sheree W. Director, Citizen Schools of California.
