Mommy's Running for Office tells a tale of two brothers whose mother is running for local office. This book is perfect for elementary school children to help them begin to understand the electoral process and the importance of everyone taking part in the process."This short chapter book for children provides an engaging and informative introduction to the electoral process through the eyes of a young boy who helps his mother run for office." - Clare Hodgson Meeker, author of Partner in Revolution: Abigail Adams, Lootas Little Wave Eater, Hansa: The True Story of an Asian Elephant Baby, National Geographic Kids' Rhino Rescue, and several other children's books."As the mother of young children and Delegate in the state legislature, I highly recommend this book.
