Mortals Surrender

I Fell not because I hated humans, but because I loved one of their own...Mara and Eris have been cut off from Heaven, abandoned on Earth, still bound and completely without support. Even Nikomedes can't help them any longer. Mara might have been able to handle being cut off, but Jon has learned the truth about who-and what-she is. And he doesn't know if he's prepared to date an immortal. On the verge of losing everything, Mara wonders whether to tell the Council the truth about the Fallen. Eris' fears that the knowledge will tear their people apart are well-founded, but Mara worries that there's something more to what Nikephoros is doing with the power he's gaining. If they don't tell the Council, whatever he's planning could destroy far more than just her chances at redemption. Before Mara and Eris can act on their decision to tell the Council, Nikephoros takes him. Him... and Jon. With the two people she cares most about in the hands of a man far more dangerous than she'd ever realized, Mara must convince the Council that cut her off to give her aid and stop Nikephoros before he puts his plans into motion. Can Mara save Jon and Eris, and stop a brewing war between the angels and the Fallen? Or will she lose the man she's only just learned to love?Mortals Surrender is the final book in the Great Temptations series, a slow-burn paranormal romance with a love triangle that will leave you guessing right up until the end.
