In her first industry tell-all book, Shear Aggravation, twenty-year beauty veteran Alicia Patterson shares some of the joys, lessons and pitfalls (but mostly those) of salon life. The bulk of her experiences consist of the various types of clients she works with; every kind from the crazy and unreal to the el-cheapos, the workaholics, the attention seekers, and some other downright scary ones to name a few. Patterson has survived them all, including the ever-lurking 'Hustle Man.' Get ready for the shear hilarity, shear pain and shear insight into this multimillion-dollar industry that Shear Aggravation lays out for your reading pleasure and comfort... if you can manage to sit still for a little bit! Shear Aggravation is guaranteed to have you falling off the edge of your seats.
