At eighty years old, everything in Steve Stephens' life hurts. Standing. Sitting. Existing. His blood sugar's too high and his morale is too low. With his glory days in the past and his future looking bleak, what's the point of going on? Then a red-headed typhoon of a woman tap dances into his life and blows up his exit strategy.Roxy Fields may be sixty-five, but the feisty former Rockette is determined to live the hell out of life. It hasn't always been easy but she firmly believes that, like her beloved Limoncello, even the sourest thing-that would be Steve-can be transformed into something sweet and intoxicating. They come from fly-speck towns and tough beginnings. They know how to fight for what they want. The similarities end there. Steve's the law-and-order, straight-arrow type. Roxy's a bit more...flexible. He's Black. She's white. The attraction is instant and butting heads is inevitable. Can a bent-but-not-broken optimist teach a dedicated curmudgeon it's not yet time for the dance to end?
