Sofie: The Letters

Sofie never left her village. Her family's legacy rested in the hills that surrounded the small community. Her heart desired to remind future generations never to forget the sacrifices that were testimony to this truth. Selah. Simon. Stone. Scout. These were some of the names that represented all she knew and held dear. She needed help. Her prayers to put her memories in writing were finally answered when she met Aaron. Her letter writer. Years of stories were poured out and shared with a stranger until one day her letters disappeared. Now the desires of her heart included finding the lost parchments and discovering how Aaron, her letter writer could know about the angel she thought only lived in her dreams, a story she never revealed to him. Joni currently lives in South Florida where she enjoys nature both at the beach and the Everglades. Her love for history and God's Word resulted in her releasing the Selah Series. Sofie is the fifth book concluding this series. She plans to continue her writing career focusing on stories that uplift the soul. She has served as a leader in Women's Bible Study and enjoyed many years playing violin on worship teams. She collects turtles and likes to hunt for sea glass, and in her quiet time, you'll find her reading in her favorite chair.
