Stories For English is a collection selected with a pedagogical interest in mind... to give new readers in English literature to read in a both interesting and progressive way... Most learners of English never make it to reading books... or even stories... They either use or don't use their command of English to some extent in the course of their job and... leave it at that... All the same teachers regularly get requests for books and reading material from their students... and here is a good start... Training people over the years has shown me the need for a carefully chosen selection that would motivate -while encouraging- the learners to take their command of English beyond this... let them keep learning while they are enjoying the read.... the way I had already done it with songs and music in Singin' To English...
