The Devil's Recitations, a dark and provocative book, straight from the mind of Asher Meekins, the author of the gothic vampire novels Pascal and Pascal Revelations. Also, the author of the short book Shall I play for you. This dark devilish poetry and deliberations will absorb and seep into your own mind and soul. Thoughts that we are delimited not to think, let alone place into a poetical piece of work. The Devil's Recitations are uncompromising in their very essence, dragging the reader into a claustrophobic hell and one that is real and will provoke a reaction from the reader, whether it is one of disgust or understanding. The Devil's Recitations are transcribed directly from the observations and contemplations that the author translated from his day to day life, paying particular attention to the sheep-like culture that society seems intent in living within. The writings dismember Christian culture and how the masses are controlled. Poetry which will be enjoyed by the goths, individuals and the lovers of all things unique and dark.
